Water damage to home in Baton Rouge

This is a picture of a dining room in a home that was flooded due to a washing machine supply line.  In the beore picture you can see the alrge amount of standing water. To the naked eye one would think all you needed to do was to mop. The problem with that is it does not address the water that is hidden in the wall cavity. The paneling had to be removed from this home so that we could remove the unsalvagable insulation. We were able to dry this home in four days.  

Always remember when you have water damage to your home it's the water that you can't see that will cause the most problems.
